Baha'i

Baha’i was founded in the year 1863 BC in Iran and has about five million believers. Baha’i is a monotheistic religions just like Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Baha’is believe that there is one god who sends prophets as his messengers. The difference between Baha’i and the other religions is that Baha’is think of god as completely magnificent and ultimately unknowable.
The doctrine in which Baha’is believe in emphasizes the unity of mankind, the world’s religions, and the progressive exposure of god to humanity. Baha’is believe that the purpose of life is for every individual to develop spiritual and moral qualities that lie at the center of their nature.
Some Baha’i practices include daily prayer, an annual fast, and a communal feast at the beginning of every month. There is no priesthood, but there is an elected council known as spiritual assemblies which have the ultimate authority.
